CASE STUDY 1: EXTENSION & REFURBISHMENT TO PERIOD PROPERTY, DUN LAOGHAIRE

Originally a three bedroom family home, the brief on this project was to substantially extend the property to the side and rear and refurbish the entire property to the highest standards, creating a bright and contemporary living space.

One of the key challenges with this build was to seamlessly match the façade of the new extension with the existing house. The project included a two storey extension to the side of the original property and a single storey extension to the rear. This included new bedroom with ensuite bathroom, walk in wardrobe, second downstairs bathroom, laundry, large open plan kitchen/living room and dining room, concertina glass door to the front and rear of the property and new hardwood floors. The existing house was entirely refurbished including a new staircase, alterations to the bedrooms and general repairs to the existing property.

Externally a patio was replaced front and back and new automatic gates were installed.
